AFT / this calculator

Five 0-100 event scores

MDL, HRP, SDC, PLK and 2MR combine into a 0-500 AFT total.

CFT / not calculated here

A separate 2026 test

Army Directive 2026-07 establishes the CFT separately. This page does not calculate it or use a CFT result to replace an AFT score.

Method & sources Scoring data and policy separated

Trace the number back to the Army table.

The score-table PDF controls the numeric lookup. The AFT resource page and current directive provide policy context; they are not substituted for the scoring cells.

01

Normalize

Whole pounds and reps stay integers. Each m:ss result becomes integer seconds.

02

Look up

The best earned real threshold is selected in the event’s correct direction.

03

Total

Five integer scores are summed, then checked against 60-per-event and the selected total.

FAQ Scope, scoring and current tables

AFT questions this tool can answer.

What are the five Army AFT events?

The scored events are MDL, HRP, SDC, PLK and 2MR. Each returns 0-100 points for a 0-500 total.

What score meets the AFT General threshold?

The selected General threshold is at least 60 points in every event and at least 300 total points.

What score meets the AFT Combat threshold?

The selected Combat threshold is at least 60 points in every event and at least 350 total points.

Does Combat use sex-neutral scoring?

Yes. This calculator fixes Combat scoring to the official age-normed M/C column and does not collect a sex selection in Combat mode.

Are these the current AFT score tables in 2026?

This tool uses the score tables effective June 1, 2025 and last reviewed the official sources on July 13, 2026. Follow the source links for later changes.

Is the AFT the same as the CFT?

No. The five-event AFT and the separate CFT are different tests. This page calculates only the AFT.

Does this calculator decide which standard applies to me?

No. It compares your entries with the standard you select. Current official and unit guidance determines applicability.

Is this an official Army calculator?

No. It is an independent reference. An official record test and current Army guidance always control.
